Cozens Regan Williams Prove is fortunate to have a high level of expertise in its staff which currently numbers fourteen (14) permanent employees and is comprised of eight (8) engineers (four Directors), four (4) design draftsmen, one (1) civil/structural inspector and one receptionist/work processor operator. We are confident that the staff utilised on any project will provide a breadth of innovation and independent review that would be difficult to match.

R J Prove Director - Structural Engineer

Rod Prove joined the staff of Cozens.Regan Pty Ltd as a Structural Engineer in early 1989. Previous to this Rod spent two and a half years with George Frame and Associates, Consulting Engineers on the Gold Coast. Rod was appointed as a Director to the firm in September 1997.
Rod's experience on the Gold Coast includes the design of multi-storey commercial building, three and four storey high unit and office blocks, school projects, industrial and commercial structures using tilt-up, blockwork and steel portal frame building techniques as well as various domestic and community housing projects. Rod has been involved in the full range of project activity from initial Client/Architect liaison to Construction inspection and Contract Administration.
J A Williams Director – Design Engineer (Civil, Hydraulic & Structural) BE (Hon); GD Eng (Municipal); GD Bus (Management); LGE (QLD); MIE(Aust) (Registered Professional Engineer)
John Williams joined the staff of Cozens.Regan Pty Ltd in 1994 having previously spent five years with Ian Hill and Associates, Consulting Engineers on the Tweed Coast. John was appointed as a Director to the firm in September 1997.
John has been engaged in a number of land development projects in the Tweed Heads area. His briefs included Development Layout Planning, Design of Earthworks, Roadworks, Stormwater Drainage, Sewerage and Water Reticulation.
Projects John has been in charge of during his time with Cozens.Regan include major land subdivision (including multiple sewer pump station network), group title development, arterial road design for development frontages including reconstruction, access and egress design to Queensland Transport approval.
Field experience has been obtained during construction phase inspection of these projects.
John also has experience in the design of three storey units, industrial and commercial structures using tilt-up, blockwork and steel frame building techniques as well as domestic projects.
B D Wellauer Director – Structural Engineer
BE (Civil); MIE (Aust) (Registered Professional Engineer No 9502)
Brett Wellauer joined the staff of Cozens.Regan Pty Ltd in 1999 as a structural engineer. Previous to this, Brett was a structural draftsperson at Weathered Howe for six years and after completing a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) degree spent a further year as a structural engineer at the same company.
As a draftsperson Brett’s experience has extended from housing construction through to high rise and industrial construction. His work with special projects such as theme parks and event management has been extensive as both a draftsperson and engineer.
Brett’s project experience as an engineer has covered the design and site supervision of high rise construction, housing developments, luxury home renovations and theme park renovations. Other design projects include large span industrial buildings and three storey residential developments
A T J Gibbons Director – Structural Engineer

Adam Gibbons joined the staff of Cozens.Regan.Williams.Prove Pty Ltd in October 2000. Adam has worked in the Construction and Structural Engineering Sector over the past seven years. He has worked on all phases of projects from preliminary sketches and concepts to detailed design and site supervision.
As a Structural Engineer, Adam’s experience includes a broad range of projects including Major Residential/Resort and Hotel Developments, Institution and Medical Projects, Commercial Developments and Special Event Projects.
Major projects Adam has been directly involved in include Royal Pines Residential, Ashmore; Runaway Cove Residential, Runaway Bay; Village Square Arts and Crafts Market, Hope Island; Lindisfarne Anglican School, Terranora; Parbury Commercial Factory, Ashmore; Aussie stampede, Surfers Paradise, Redevelopment of Harvey Norman, Bundall and upgrade and refurbishments to Gold Coast Theme Parks. |
